A few weeks back, I was asked by my good friends in Harrowed (https://www.facebook.com/HARROWED) to produce a video for their new song ‘Coward’ from the upcoming album Chaotic Nonentity” along with press shots of the band.
The brief for the video was for it to be black and white, grainy, and to keep it simple, with mostly shots of the band playing with short clips of local scenery. The project also needed to be turned around in a short time to be used for promotion for their upcoming album release.
To try and get the best possible and quickest results, I turned to my long time working partner and good friend Jack from Papercrane Recordings (https://www.facebook.com/PapercraneRecordings/) and together spent the morning shooting various takes, setting off fire alarms, and generally having our ears blasted over and over again!
Below is the resulting video. It’s the first music video i’ve worked on in a long while, and i’m real happy with the result. Huge thanks to Jack for getting all the good shots, and for Harrowed for putting their trust in me!
