Having not had a holiday for a while, I decided a long weekend away with my partner Sophie was in order, so I booked us a small cottage in the heart of Snowdonia, packed up some food, raincoats and hiking boots and set off with no real plan.
The weather was not favourable during our trip. It appeared that our holiday had coincided with storms hitting the area. Whilst there were flood warnings across northern wales, the are in which we were staying seemed to have survived, so we made the most of our luck by exploring some of the breathtaking scenery that this part of wales is known for.
